Modalert 200 is a generic form of Modafinil (Provigil in the USA). Each tablet contains exactly 200mg of Modafinil, manufactured by Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Much like our other brands of Modafinil (Modvigil) and Armodafinil (Artvigil), each tablet is carefully manufactured to include a breaker line along the center of the tablet. This means that each 200mg tablet may be broken in half (along the breaker line) to give an accurate 100mg dose. For many users, 100mg is more than enough to give an adequate feeling of wakefulness, focus and attention. Depending on the individual’s circumstances, some users may take 200mg to attain the desired effects.
It’s important to understand your specific metabolism and individual reaction to Modafinil. So we recommend taking 100mg on an empty stomach as early as possible. You should begin to notice the effects within 1 hour, with effects beginning to diminish after approximately 6 – 8 hours. The recommended dosage of Provigil for each indication is as follows:
Narcolepsy or Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA): 200 mg once a day in the morning.
Shift Work Disorder (SWD): 200 mg once a day, taken approximately one hour prior to start of the work shift.
Modalert is very well tolerated by the vast majority of individuals. In fact, a recent study found that Modafinil had zero recorded deaths in its 18 years of use in 20 countries [22][23]. CONTRAINDICATIONS
Provigil
Provigil is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to modafinil or armodafinil.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
• Serious Rash, including Stevens-Johnson Syndrome: Discontinue Provigil at the first sign of rash, unless the rash is clearly not drug-related.
Angioedema and Anaphylaxis Reactions: If suspected, discontinue Provigil.
Multi-organ Hypersensitivity Reactions: If suspected, discontinue Provigil .
Persistent Sleepiness: Assess patients frequently for degree of sleepiness and, if appropriate, advise patients to avoid driving or engaging in any other potentially dangerous activity.
Psychiatric Symptoms: Use caution in patients with a history of psychosis, depression, or mania. Consider discontinuing Provigil ® if psychiatric symptoms develop.
Known Cardiovascular Disease: Consider increased monitoring.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
Most common adverse reactions (≥5%): headache, nausea, nervousness, rhinitis, diarrhea, back pain, anxiety, insomnia, dizziness, and dyspepsia.
INTERACTIONS
Steroidal contraceptives (e.g., ethynyl estradiol): Use alternative or concomitant methods of contraception while taking Provigil ® and for one month after discontinuation of Provigil ® treatment.
Cyclosporine: Blood concentrations of cyclosporine may be reduced.
CYP2C19 substrates, such as omeprazole, phenytoin, and diazepam: Exposure of these medications may be increased.
Pregnancy: Based on animal data, may cause fetal harm.

Like most people that adapted to the age of information, I’ve been struggling with attention deficit most of my life. Even when highly motivated, I’ve had problems achieving optimal (not maximum) productivity. I was not able to research the products the way they should be. My order was a sample pack, of which is 10 of the 4 products. I sampled each one by jumping back and forth instead of picking one and sticking with it then try another. That would be my suggestion for anyone with the sample pack. I could tell I had some motivation and clarity but not as much as I was expecting, and part of that could be due to high expectations and jumping around with my research, so more my fault thing anything. I will need to research these items some more and do it correctly this time and report back. My shipping to the USA, Oklahoma took 17 days, just so have it, it got to customs the week of thanksgiving so was held up for their holiday vacation which could of been part of the delay. But I cannot say enough to the customer service via e-mails, but outstanding, probably the best company I have delt with. It was strong right when I took it and lasted about an average of 4 hours. This is not a paid review. I hate paid reviews. To explain my best day, I woke up and took my vitamins as well as modalert in the morning right before my run. It kicked in during my run and after, I was Captain Chore Completer and finished a ton of stuff during the next 12 hours. With every great ability requires responsibility. Just taking it by itself I get headaches, but with the right vitamins it helps to prevent that. Also drink lots of water.
